When I first began my time I saw the world differently. I believed people were good at heart despite bad things some might say or do, and I believed that the world as a whole was a kind place. I trusted people. Of course, I was naive back then.
Those of you who regularly follow these writings are probably familiar with each Letters From Christopher category. For those of you who aren’t, I offer this brief run down:
Those of us pulling long sentences endure the pain of missing out on life’s milestones. You’re always watching from afar as nieces and nephews grow up, friends and loved ones marry, and even your own children growing old. The list is long.
This week our COVID-19 lockdown ended and we’ve returned to semi-normal operations here. Many of the departments that were closed have reopened, and guys are happy to get moving again. Of course, nothing is really back to “normal” in the sense that we remember. The ‘new normal’ (as clichéd as that phrase has become) is a world where we’re still restricted in some of our movements, and everyone still wears masks. Don’t get me wrong, I really AM thankful. After the last 8 weeks, our new normal is awesome.
